Booking

How do I book an airport transfer? +
You can start your booking easily via the booking form. Enter pick-up address, destination and desired time and you will immediately see available vehicles and prices. The booking contract is concluded directly between you and the transfer provider. After booking you receive a confirmation email with all important information.
How far in advance do I have to book? +
Standard vehicles (Economy, Comfort, Minivan) must be booked at least 16 hours in advance. Premium vehicles and larger minibuses require 24 hours of lead time.
Can I book at short notice? +
Spontaneous bookings are only possible to a limited extent. Standard vehicles need at least 16 hours of lead time, premium vehicles and minibuses 24 hours. There is an option for urgent bookings via our booking form, but no guarantee can be given.
Will I get a booking confirmation? +
Yes, the booking confirmation is sent directly by email from the transfer provider as soon as payment was successful. Please also check your spam folder if you do not find a confirmation. The email contains all trip details, the booking number and contact options for the transfer provider's support.
Where do I find my booking details? +
All booking details are in the confirmation email from the transfer provider. There it is also explained how you can make changes or cancel your booking. For questions about the booking, contact the transfer provider's customer service directly.

Payment & prices

Which payment methods are accepted? +
Payment is processed directly via the transfer provider. VISA, MasterCard and Apple Pay are accepted. Depending on the route a deposit online with cash payment of the remaining amount to the driver may also be possible. The available options are shown during the booking process.
When do I have to pay? +
Payment is made directly when booking via the transfer provider. The amount is charged immediately via the chosen payment method. The payment confirmation and invoice are sent by email from the transfer provider.
Are all fees included in the price? +
The price depends on distance, vehicle size and time of day. Just enter your pick-up address on our website and you will receive a transparent offer from the transfer provider immediately. The displayed price is the final price — there are no hidden costs and no surcharges through our brokerage.
Do I have to tip the driver? +
Tips are not mandatory but appreciated for satisfactory service.
Will I get an invoice? +
Yes, after a successful booking you receive the invoice by email directly from the transfer provider with all important details (pick-up time, vehicle type, booking number). For adjustments to the invoice (e.g. company address) please contact the transfer provider's support.

Pick-up & ride

Where will I be picked up? +
The driver picks you up at the address you specified. For airport pick-ups, pick-up takes place at Meeting Point 3: Follow the signs "Ride App – Pick-up Area" to leave the terminal building. Point A5 is on the right, A6 (bus stop) on the left. Cross the pedestrian path and walk to Meeting Point number 3 in the middle between both points. The detailed instructions are here.
How do I recognise my driver? +
For airport pick-ups the driver waits at Meeting Point 3. Before pick-up you receive an email with the driver's contact details and the vehicle licence plate. The driver will contact you by phone as soon as you have landed.
What happens if my flight is delayed? +
For airport pick-ups, 90 minutes of waiting time from the scheduled arrival time are included in the price. For delays under 30 minutes the driver adjusts arrival automatically. For longer delays please inform the driver via the number in your confirmation email.
How long does the driver wait for me? +
For airport pick-ups the driver waits up to 90 minutes after the scheduled arrival time. For pick-ups in the city (hotel, address) 15 minutes of waiting time from the booked time are included in the price. For delays please inform the driver via the number in the confirmation email.
Can I make stops along the way? +
Short intermediate stops are possible after agreement with the driver. Longer stops or detours should already be specified during booking, as they may affect the price.

Vehicle & service

Which vehicle types are available? +
Numerous vehicle classes are available: Micro, Economy, Comfort, Business, Premium, Minivan (4 persons), Premium Minibus (6 persons) and minibuses for 7, 10, 13, 16 and up to 19 persons. When booking, choose the right category for your number of people and amount of luggage.
How much luggage can I bring? +
Luggage capacity depends on the chosen vehicle category and is shown during booking. Standard luggage is one suitcase with a maximum total size of 158 cm (length + width + height). Hand luggage can be stored additionally in the vehicle. For special luggage (skis, snowboards, bicycles, strollers, wheelchairs, golf clubs) please specify in the comments field during booking.
Can I order a child seat? +
Yes, child seats can be selected during booking. Choose the right seat type for your child (baby carrier, child seat, booster seat). Child seats are charged additionally. Important: in most countries child seats are required by law. Without a booked child seat the driver may refuse the ride.
Are pets allowed? +
Yes, pets are allowed. Select the option "I am travelling with pets" during booking. Your pet must be transported in a carrier and remain in it during the entire ride. Please carry all required documents for your animal.
How many people fit in a vehicle? +
Depending on vehicle class between 1 and 19 people. Each child counts as a passenger regardless of age. The available classes range from Micro (1–3 persons) via Economy and Comfort (up to 4 persons), Minivan (4 persons) up to Minibus (7, 10, 13, 16 or 19 persons). The maximum capacity is shown during booking.

Cancellation & changes

Can I cancel my booking? +
Yes, free cancellation is possible. For standard vehicles (Economy, Comfort, Minivan) up to 5 hours before departure. For premium vehicles and larger minibuses up to 24 hours before. Cancel via your customer profile at the transfer provider (link in the confirmation email) or contact the transfer provider's support.
What happens if I miss the ride? +
If you do not reach the driver within the waiting time, the ride may be considered completed. In case of problems, contact the transfer provider's customer service immediately so that a solution can be found.
Will I get my money back when cancelling? +
For timely cancellation (5h or 24h before departure, depending on vehicle class) you receive a full refund from the transfer provider. The credit to your account can take up to 60 banking days. If nothing has arrived after that, contact the transfer provider's support.

Problems & support

What do I do if I cannot find the driver? +
Call the driver directly (the number is in your confirmation email). If you cannot reach them, contact the transfer provider's 24/7 support.
I forgot something in the vehicle. What now? +
Contact the transfer provider's customer service immediately with your booking number and a description of the item. The transfer provider contacts the driver and organises the return.
The vehicle did not show up. What should I do? +
Contact the transfer provider's support immediately via the contact details in your booking confirmation. The transfer provider organises a replacement vehicle or refunds the booking according to their conditions.
How can I file a complaint? +
Complaints about the ride, the driver or the handling must be submitted to the transfer provider, as they are your contractual partner for the booking. For feedback or problems with our website you can reach us at support@flughafentransfer.berlin.
