Land and go straight on holiday: the private transfer takes you from BER directly to Tropical Islands Resort in Krausnick. No changes, no waiting for the shuttle bus – your driver meets you at the terminal and brings you, beach bag and suitcases included, right to the entrance. Perfect for families and groups with a short break or overnight stay at the resort.
From BER the route follows the A113 to the Schönefeld interchange and then the A13 towards Dresden as far as the Staakow exit. From there it is about three kilometres to the resort. The roughly 50 kilometres usually take 40 minutes. On Fridays and before school holidays the A13 is busier, so allow a little extra time.
Travel times are estimates for normal traffic. For the return trip to BER, allow extra time for congestion, check-in and security.
Tropical Islands lies about 50 kilometres south of Berlin in the Dahme-Spreewald district. The resort is housed in a former airship hangar, one of the largest free-standing halls in the world. Inside, tropical temperatures prevail all year round, and there is accommodation ranging from tents to lodges.

By train and shuttle you travel from BER to Brand Tropical Islands station and change there to the free shuttle bus. It works, but with children and luggage it costs time and patience. The private transfer takes you straight to the resort with no changes.
Which option is cheaper depends on the number of passengers, vehicle class and time of travel. Several travellers share one vehicle price – check the actual total directly in the booking form.

Birthdays, club outings, stag and hen parties or team events: with a minibus for up to 19 passengers the whole group arrives together.
The transfer can be booked in both directions: from BER to Tropical Islands and from Tropical Islands back to the airport. Simply enter your pick-up and drop-off address in the booking form – hotel, company, trade fair or apartment. Outbound and return are booked as two separate rides.
