From BER the route follows the Berlin ring road (A10) onto the A12 towards Frankfurt (Oder), crosses into Poland at Świecko and continues on the Polish A2 motorway to Poznań. Allow just under three hours for roughly 270 kilometres. This section of the Polish A2 is a toll road; whether tolls are included is stated in the respective offer.
Important: carry a valid passport or national ID card. Checks at the German–Polish border are possible and may cause waiting times – allow a buffer for the return trip to BER.

Poznań (German: Posen) is the capital of the Greater Poland Voivodeship and one of the oldest cities in Poland.
