From BER straight to the Baltic Sea: the private transfer takes you without changes to Rostock, to the cruise terminal in Warnemünde or to the ferry port. For cruise passengers it is the easiest way to the ship – many cruises depart from Warnemünde, while the convenient flights land in Berlin. You book online, see the fixed price before booking and your driver waits at the terminal, even if your flight is late.
From BER you take the western Berlin ring road (A10) to the Havelland junction and the A24 towards Hamburg as far as the Wittstock/Dosse junction. There you switch to the A19, which leads directly to Rostock. Allow about 2.5 hours for the roughly 240 kilometres to Warnemünde in normal traffic. On summer weekends and during school holidays the A19 towards the coast is much busier – for a cruise departure, plan generously.
Travel times are estimates for normal traffic. For the return trip to BER, allow extra time for congestion, check-in and security.
Rostock is the largest city in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, an old Hanseatic city with a university and a deep-sea port. The seaside resort of Warnemünde at the mouth of the Warnow belongs to the city and is one of Germany’s most important cruise ports: the Warnemünde Cruise Center sits right by the railway station and a few minutes from the beach. Ferries to Gedser (Denmark) and Trelleborg (Sweden) leave from Rostock’s overseas port.

By train you travel from BER to Berlin Central Station, change there for Rostock and continue by S-Bahn to Warnemünde. With cruise luggage and a fixed embarkation time, the private transfer from door to terminal is far more relaxed and easier to plan.
Which option is cheaper depends on the number of passengers, vehicle class and time of travel. Several travellers share one vehicle price – check the actual total directly in the booking form.
Straight from the airport to the ship: pick-up at the terminal, luggage stays in the vehicle, arrival at the Cruise Center or ferry port in time for embarkation.
Families with beach luggage, wedding parties or club trips to the coast – together in one vehicle for up to 19 passengers.
The transfer can be booked in both directions: from BER to Rostock and Warnemünde and from Rostock / Warnemünde back to the airport. Simply enter your pick-up and drop-off address in the booking form – hotel, company, trade fair or apartment. Outbound and return are booked as two separate rides.
Enter your flight number when booking so the pick-up follows your actual landing time. The exact meeting point is in your booking confirmation; the driver usually waits with a name sign in the arrivals hall. The included waiting time follows the conditions shown at booking.
