GITEX Europe is the European edition of the GITEX technology show from Dubai and has been held every year at the Messe Berlin exhibition grounds since 2025: in May in 2025, from late June into early July in 2026 (most recently as GITEX AI Europe). Thousands of exhibitors, start-ups, investors and delegations from Europe, the Middle East and Asia arrive via Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER). The private transfer takes you from the terminal to the fair or your hotel without changes, with a fixed price before booking and a driver with a name sign in the arrivals hall.
01From BER to the exhibition grounds: travel time and route
The exhibition grounds at the Funkturm in Westend are about 35 kilometres from BER. The drive follows the A113 and the A100 city motorway to the Messedamm exit and takes 45 to 60 minutes in normal traffic. On show days there is more traffic around Messedamm and Jafféstraße, so allow a buffer in the morning. The fixed price is not affected.
02Entrances and halls
GITEX Europe uses the halls around the South Entrance (Jafféstraße) as well as hub27 and the CityCube for conferences. Enter the entrance you need as your destination when booking, for example “Messe Berlin South Entrance, Jafféstraße” or “CityCube Berlin, Messedamm 26”. For the return trip to BER, book a fixed pick-up time at the same entrance.
03Trade fair hotels and delegations
Many participants stay in the hotels by the exhibition grounds, in City West around Kurfürstendamm and the zoo, or in Mitte. The transfer goes directly from BER to the hotel and, on show days, between hotel and fair. For delegations, exhibitor teams and start-up groups there are vans and minibuses for up to 19 passengers; equipment and sample cases travel in the boot. You can book for guests: enter name, flight number and mobile number, and the driver waits with that name.
04Dates and sources
Current dates, opening hours and hall plans are on the official website: gitex-europe.com. Information on the exhibition grounds and getting there is available from Messe Berlin.
