Berlin is one of Europe’s largest congress cities. From Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER) the private transfer takes you at a fixed price straight to the venue or your congress hotel, with your driver waiting in the arrivals hall with a name sign. Here are the main congress venues with location and travel time from BER.
The bcc at Alexanderstraße 11 stands right on Alexanderplatz in Mitte, in the listed domed building next to the TV Tower. From BER it is about 25 kilometres via the A113 and the city motorway, 35 to 50 minutes in normal traffic. Many delegates stay in the hotels around Alexanderplatz, which the transfer serves just as directly.
The AXICA congress and conference centre is at Pariser Platz 3, right next to the Brandenburg Gate in the DZ Bank building. The ride from BER takes 40 to 55 minutes. Vehicle access to Pariser Platz is restricted; the driver drops you at the nearest accessible address, usually Behrenstraße or Wilhelmstraße.
CityCube and hub27 belong to the Messe Berlin exhibition grounds by the Funkturm in Westend. The CityCube (Messedamm 26) is the fair’s congress building and host of major medical and industry congresses; hub27 is the modern hall at the Jafféstraße entrance. From BER allow 45 to 60 minutes via the A113 and A100, more during large fairs. All entrances and halls are described on the Messe Berlin page.
The Estrel Congress Center on Sonnenallee is the large congress venue closest to BER: about 15 kilometres, 20 to 30 minutes via the A113. Hotel and congress halls are under one roof and the transfer ends right at the driveway.
STATION Berlin in Kreuzberg (Luckenwalder Straße) is an event venue in former postal halls used for tech conferences and exhibitions, the Kosmos on Karl-Marx-Allee a former cinema hosting congresses and galas, and the Tempodrom at Anhalter Bahnhof a venue for conferences and concerts. All three are 35 to 50 minutes from BER.
For delegates the transfer pays off because congresses start at fixed times and the hotel is often not at the venue. Organisers and assistants can book rides for speakers and guests: enter name, flight number and mobile number, and the driver waits with the guest’s name. Minibuses for up to 19 passengers are available for delegations.
Berlin is spread across many districts. The best option depends on your exact destination, group size, luggage and how much changing or walking you are comfortable with.
