A lounge can make airport waiting time more comfortable, provided its location, access rules and the time before boarding fit your trip. BER's Tegel and Tempelhof lounges are in the security area of Terminal 1.

Which lounges are available?

BER Lounge Tempelhof is accessed near Gate A20 and BER Lounge Tegel near Gate B17. Both are beyond security. Other lounges, including Lufthansa facilities, have separate access conditions. Check which option is practical for your flight and eligibility.

How do I get access?

Day access to the two BER lounges can be purchased under the current conditions online or at the airport. Partner programmes and certain travel entitlements may also qualify. Capacity, prices, opening hours and maximum stay can change; consult the airport's booking page before travelling.

How much time should I allow?

A lounge visit does not replace check-in or security. Budget separately for the journey to BER, baggage drop, security, the walk to the lounge and then to the gate. Follow your airline's timings. Non-Schengen flights may require extra checks and walking. Leave the lounge early enough to reach boarding.

Departing from Terminal 2?

The BER lounges are in T1. T2 passengers can use the link between terminals but should allow extra walking time. Check your gate, route and the airport's current notices.
