What IFA means for your arrival

During the show, hotels in the City West around Kurfürstendamm and in Berlin-Mitte are almost fully booked, and public transport towards Messedamm is noticeably busy before opening and in the early evening after closing. When you should arrive
Where possible, arrive the day before or early in the morning before opening. IFA opens late morning and the first day in particular gets crowded at the entrances. A buffer of one to two hours before your first appointment or booth shift takes the stress out. If you arrive from the surrounding area or Potsdam, factor in the longer distance, the fixed price stays the same.
