In short
The right vehicle class follows from the number of passengers and the luggage. Classes range from Micro and Economy for a few people, through Comfort and Business, to Minivan (4 to 6 people) and Minibus (7 to 19 people). Allow a small reserve for luggage so it does not get tight.
The vehicle classes at a glance
Micro and Economy suit solo travellers, couples and small families with little luggage. Comfort and Business offer more space and comfort. For medium groups there is the Minivan, for larger groups the Minibus. Which classes are available for your route is shown in the booking form.
Maximum number of passengers
Make sure every traveller has a regular seat. The number of passengers stated per vehicle in the booking form is binding; children in child seats count as a seat.
Realistic luggage capacity
Passenger count alone is not decisive. A fully occupied vehicle with one large suitcase per person may require the next class up. Count large suitcases and hand luggage separately.

Hand luggage and large suitcases
All luggage must be stowed safely in the designated space. The luggage capacity of the vehicle class shown in the booking form is decisive. With a lot of luggage, choose one class up rather than planning too tight.
Pushchair, rollator, sports luggage, child seats
A pushchair and rollator need extra space. Sports luggage such as skis or a bike counts as special luggage and should be stated in advance; see Special luggage to BER. Add child seats when booking.
Groups

Keep a safety reserve

How many suitcases fit in a minivan? This varies by the specific vehicle option. The luggage capacity shown in the booking form is decisive.
Do children count as passengers? Yes, every child with a seat or child seat counts as a seat.
What about special luggage? State skis, a bike or similar in advance; the right class is checked individually.
