What Potsdam's taxi regulation covers
The published regulation applies to Potsdam-licensed taxis inside the city's compulsory area. For a destination outside it, the driver must explain before departure that a fare for the whole journey may be freely agreed. If no agreement is reached, the trip may be declined or the regulated fare may apply.
Why a kilometre calculation is only indicative
Multiplying map distance by an urban rate does not reliably cover the agreed fare, actual route, traffic, waiting, larger vehicle or supplements. Ask for a binding total before departure.
